What counts as a "prospect"?
A prospect is one company match — with at least one buying signal, a fit score, and a working contact. You only consume a prospect when you reveal it (clicking it open or adding it to outreach). Unrevealed matches don't count toward your monthly limit.
If a prospect's email bounces or returns no contact, it's refunded automatically.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
You enter your URL, Torbi scans your company, you pick one market, and we deliver 5 prospects with full signals, contacts, and draft emails — for free. No credit card, no expiry surprise. After 7 days, you decide if you want to subscribe.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes — anytime, no calls, no friction. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the next billing cycle. There are no contracts on Starter, Growth, or Professional.
What if I need more prospects than my plan includes?
Two options: upgrade, or top-up. Top-up packs are sold in 100-prospect blocks and priced based on your plan. Talk to us and we'll structure it.
How accurate are the contact details?
We verify every email at the moment of delivery (SMTP check, MX validation, catchall detection). Across Q3 our deliverability was 96.4%. Bounces are refunded automatically — you don't pay for a contact that doesn't exist.
Where does Torbi get its data?
From public sources: customs records (47 countries), MCA & ROC filings, LinkedIn public profiles, B2B marketplaces (TradeIndia, Alibaba, IndiaMart RFQs), RERA, GST registrations, press releases, GitHub orgs, job boards, and licensed datasets where applicable. We respect robots.txt and ToS everywhere.
Is Torbi GDPR-compliant? What about Indian DPDP?
Yes to both. We sign DPAs on Professional and Enterprise. We're SOC 2 Type II certified (audited annually by Prescient Assurance). For EU prospects, we apply the legitimate interest basis with a clear opt-out in every Torbi-sent email. We support deletion requests within 7 days.
Does Torbi work for B2C?
Partially. For high-ticket B2C (interior designers, modular kitchens, solar installers, automotive dealers) — yes, with property and household signals. For commodity B2C (CPG, fashion, food) — no, we don't think we'd be useful.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes — annual billing comes with a meaningful discount, structured during the sales conversation. Email sales and we'll send a quote.
